Noosa from Above Series Granite Bay

Noosa from Above Series ; Granite Bay Noosa Heads from a seagull’s perspective as it flies over the ‘horizonless’ seascape. Granite Bay a spectacular part of one of Noosa's National Park headlands and a favourite to sit and watch the synchronised waves as they roll into the bay.
As the perspective is flattend, there is still volume of the paint giving it a slightly tactile chuncky surface, espeacially in hte bottom right hand corner.

My artwork is the by-product of my observation, creative influences, life experiences and my passion to keep discovering. I have freedom with my creative practice, using the learnt skills of education and personal expression. I have trained myself to apply “creative observation” to everything I see, and I am still amazed how this is a never-ending pleasure and a springboard for my painting and its organic evolution.
Living and painting on Australia’s Sunshine Coast Queensland, exploring the National Parks, Hinterland and Beaches, allows progression that evokes exploring techniques, subjects, and mediums. My joy is evident when I exhibit, complete a commissioned piece, or have clients who visit my studio.
