Spring is a time of renewal and that is what this painting represents. Fresh lively flowers with harmonising colours and forms in a simple glass vase.
The painting exhibits my soft style with no part seeming more important than another, rather it is viewed as a whole.
With luscious delicate pinks with creamy whites of the magnolia, azaleas and vibunum foiled by a grey/green background lends a sense of balance and tranquillity accented by blue iris for some vertical forms and contrast.
