Artist Bio

Jeffrey Vizon is a talented Australian artist based in Warrnambool, Victoria, renowned for his evocative pencil illustrations and oil paintings that draw from personal experiences and the landscapes of South West Victoria. His artwork often explores deep themes of self-discovery, hope, and transcendence.

In 2018, Vizon published Awake, a picture storybook inspired by the journey of a young warrior. The book blends elements of Vizon’s own life and the landscapes around his hometown, creating an alternative universe that delves into themes of grief, renewal, and emotional transformation. Through his work, Vizon aims to evoke raw emotion and encourages viewers to reflect personally on the dream-like world presented in Awake.

Vizon’s first solo exhibition, also called Awake, was held at The F Project in Warrnambool from March 9 to April 3, 2022. The exhibition offered visitors an immersive experience into his artistic vision, showcasing illustrations from his book.

In addition to exhibitions, Vizon's artwork is available for purchase on platforms like Bluethumb, and he actively shares his creative journey on Instagram. Through his art, he continues to contribute to the cultural fabric of Warrnambool, inviting audiences to connect with powerful narratives of emotion and personal growth.
