Sunbathing 2 is a sister painting to Sunbathing 1, they can be together or separate depending on the space as they are large paintings. My inspiration comes from my travels through Europe and beach side holidays. I Loved the confidence that people had with their bodies of all ages and sizes and i think this painting portrays someone enjoying being by the seaside and soaking up the sunshine, not a worry in the world at that moment in time.
