Artwork Description

‘Reef Chief’ is inspired by the reefs all over the east coast of Australia. I’m a SCUBA diver and snorkelling enthusiast and I’m constantly blown away by the vibrancy of the underwater world. So many fish seem to have ‘attitude’; playful or haughty or busy. This little flounder fancies himself much bigger than he actually is!

Hi! I’m Jemma and I live in Coolangatta, QLD, with my husband and our 3 sons. I’m in awe of Australia’s natural beauty and it is the inspiration behind most of my pieces.
My works are colourful and bright and intended to inspire joy…. I include iconic landmarks in abstractions and love mixing media’s to creature unique texture. I want you to FEEL like you want to be in my artworks.
