Jenna Kernaghan is a self taught artist and contemporary painter currently making her magic in Torquay, Victoria.
Jenna's work explores her emotions and experiences through the visualization of and creation of pattern. Working predominantly with acrylics, Jenna weaves light and colour through a special blend of layering and glazing techniques to create glowing, energetic abstract paintings that celebrate light, colour and form.
With a deeply intuitive relationship to painting, Jenna draws inspiration from the mystic, divine and otherworldly, often blending elements of the human form, concepts of spirituality and psychedelic experiences within her work.
Her vibrant palettes, precise linework and strong contrasts come together to create bold and dynamic artworks which she hopes can bring people together in shared experiences of joy and wonder.
