The amazing central pieces of cardboard made me think of the whirlwind movement of the winds in the desert. While the ribbon, grasses & stencil work all went to give the appearance of dust blowing in the wind.

Jennie is a Sunshine Coast based artist who has had a keen interest in many art forms from a young age. A dress designer by trade who took up ceramic art as a hobby when newly married, & went on to win awards in this field. Whilst still teaching & producing ceramics Jennie started studying silk painting which in turn lead to her opening an art based business supplying curio shops all around South Africa. After immigrating to Australia in 2003 she continued watercolour painting, but soon added pastels & acrylics to her portfolio. The art works that she is producing now, be they multi media underwater scenes, abstract landscapes or her favourite florals are full of life & bright colours which she hopes bring a sense of fun & happiness when viewed.
