Artwork Description

Painted in April 2024, Lily Radiance marks a turning point in my creative journey. Months of experimenting, layering, and exploring oil’s rich textures finally came together in this vibrant, light-filled composition.

Inspired by the luminous greens of a sunlit pond and the delicate blush of waterlily petals, I worked with a palette knife and bold brushstrokes to build texture and movement. The thick, tactile layers invite you to almost feel the water’s surface — alive with ripples, reflections, and quiet energy.

For me, this painting is about emergence — the moment when something dormant within rises to meet the light. The lilies bloomed… and so did I.

Artist Bio

“Intuitive art inspired by nature, emotion and light".

Jenni is an intuitive Australian artist whose work explores the quiet magic of the land and the emotional landscapes of the heart. Living in the Hunter, New South Wales, she draws inspiration from rolling hills, wildflowers, and the ever‑changing play of light and water in nature.

Her collections range from soft, impressionistic florals to expressive abstracts and soulful landscapes. Painting for Jenni is a conversation with memory and emotion: each layer a way of honouring the beauty of impermanence, grief, and transformation.

Self‑taught and deeply guided by intuition, Jenni works primarily in acrylics, often building translucent layers and incorporating soft glazes and symbolic marks. Her paintings invite a pause—a moment to feel, to remember, and to connect.
