This exciting artwork, professionally framed, celebrates the ancient, tall rock faces surrounding the beautifully coloured gorges in central Australia. It came out of an art trip, where many sketches and photos became the inspiration for this painting. Under the final layers of oil paint, there are many layers of acrylic paint and markmaking with pencils and pastels. Together, this contributed to the final work which is a lovely portrayal of the Australian outback.
