Down the creek bed to Stubbs waterhole

This painting is an abstracted landscape painting and is about a scene at Stubbs Waterhole, at Arkaroola, a wildlife sanctuary in the north of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. This is one of a series painted at Arkaroola at a week-long art workshop. This painting was started in the dry creek bed surrounded by beautiful rock faces and trees. It was finished in the studio on site in Arkaroola. The painting has a lot of depth and interest.

The painting will look beautiful behind a matt border as shown in the in situ photos, although you could also explore other options with a framer if you prefer to frame it without glass protection.
