Artwork Description

Why is sloth portrayed as laziness when it can represent self-care, rest, and rejuvenation? This serene artwork redefines sloth as the essential pause we all need in a fast-paced world. The playful use of soothing blues and purples invites the viewer to embrace moments of indulgence, relaxation, and mindfulness. The cucumber slices and bubble bath symbolise a well-deserved escape, reminding us that slowing down is a form of self-love, not a sin.

Discover the Collection
Each artwork in this series reimagines one of the seven deadly sins, challenging societal perceptions and transforming them into virtues that empower, inspire, and celebrate individuality. While each piece stands boldly on its own, they also connect to form a cohesive narrative, making a powerful statement when displayed together.

Your Choice
• Buy One: Select the sin that speaks to your journey or resonates with your story.
• Own the Series: Collect all seven to experience the full impact of this thought-provoking and visually striking series. Together, they offer a transformative perspective on emotions, ambition, and self-expression.

This series is perfect for those who value art that sparks conversation, challenges norms, and celebrates the complexity of human nature. Don’t miss the chance to own a piece—or the entire collection—that redefines what it means to be human.

Artist’s Note:
“Sloth is about reclaiming the time to rest and recharge. In a society that glorifies busyness, I wanted this piece to remind us that stillness is strength and taking care of ourselves is never wrong.”

Artist Bio

I am an emerging artist based in Melbourne, specialising in abstract expression and vibrant storytelling. My work celebrates transformation, resilience, and empowerment through bold compositions and dynamic layering.

Recently, my piece Metamorphosis was awarded Best in Show at the highly regarded Pakenham Art Show, a long-running event in its 47th year. The judge praised its “exciting and rich surface” and “energetic” layering of pigments, highlighting my ability to create thought-provoking and emotionally resonant works.

While my primary focus is on abstract works, I also explore themes of empowerment through bold pop art compositions, blending contemporary techniques with emotional depth.

Thank you for considering my art. Made with ❤️ in Australia.
