At Night

Imagine yourself walking through a beautiful, peaceful forest at night. The air is crisp and the stars are shining their brilliant light across the whole sky, illuminating your path forward. There is a gentle fog that settles in, and you wander through, hearing the song of the owls and the crickets. The trees ahead call you forward; as you approach, you feel the weight of their presence. They whisper gently to your heart. You are home.

As an artist, I enjoy experimenting with new materials and techniques. I absolutely love impasto painting and beautiful, bright colours. I enjoy working on portraits and abstract pieces.

Sometimes I have an image in mind for what I’d like to create, and other times I start with a canvas and see where the paint takes me :)
Sometimes my original idea becomes something entirely different! The painting process is fun, intuitive and therapeutic for me.
