Loved art from very early age and although pursuing a career as a pharmacist always painted as a hobby .I have taken classes in most mediums including Watercolour,Botanical Drawing ,Drawing ,oil and Acrylic painting and soft pastel .I have also studied correspondence through Newcastle Uni which involved drawing nature ,plants and animals.
I am am a member of an Art Society and have won prizes for drawing and pastel works.
I started painting commissions for pet portraits in 2013 and clients can order on line through my Facebook page ,petportraitsbyjenny.
I paint these from photographs sent via computer .These are either Acrylic on canvas or soft pastel on pastel paper.
Lately I have discovered Mixed Media using alcohol or acrylic inks along with Acrylic paints .I paint a variety of subjects from still life to landscape .
