Jennifer O'Neill is a mixed media artist based in Adelaide, South Australia with her main focus being, painting in acrylics. She loves to create custom made pieces for fellow art lovers and specialises in fantasy portraiture and whimsical landscapes. Her main mediums include acrylic, ink, chalk pastels and oils. Finding inspiration in nature, community and travel, Jennifer likes to experiment with her art by exploring many different styles including abstract, minimalism and surrealism.
Since a child Jennifer loved to cut, paste, paint in primary, then high school. Feeling a sense of excitement and wonder with every lesson. But never thought it would lead anywhere!
Coming from a family of artists both on her Mother and Fathers side, it is in her genes she would say! Jennifer has memories of her Aunt getting her to do sittings, as she'd fidget in her chair!
It is within the last four years after studying art therapy at Ikon institute, but deffering after loosing both her parents in the same year, that she has taken up the passion and love of creativity. Describing painting as a fantastic outlet for healing, growth and grounding.
