I have aways been drawn to detail and love the small treasures that I have seen on my travels in China, Japan, Turkey... This work is small and detail is important to achieve interest when viewing the work up close but the tonal variation provides drama at a distance. A miniature version of a dragon vase won the Australian Miniature Society's art prize in printmaking.
