Sepia Charbonell printing ink on BFK Rives 280 gsm
Description
Drypoint is a printmaking technique that involves using a sharp scribe to draw on a plate. this creates burrs which will catch the ink. One can achieve darks, lights and medium tones by varying the pressure and intensity of detail. This work is inspired by the many Chinese works studied. It is an original, hand-pulled print (3/5) which is ready to frame. There are two more available from the edition.
Hand-pulled prints always vary slightly. The flower can be hand coloured by the artist if desired.
