This beautiful team of Clydesdales belongs to Mick Bradford of Yangan, Queensland. These Clydesdales and others have shown their prowess in various activities at Mick’s Heavy Horse Demonstration Days to raise funds for CareFlight, now LifeFlight. Mick has worked his farm with these gentle giants for many years and they really do know their job. They also know who’s boss. Mick has many helpers with his teams, and sometimes these gentle giants do get carried away with their enthusiasm for their task, but from the distance a “Whoooaah!” from Mick stops them in their tracks. In this painting a group of Mick’s helpers are on the hay cart. Mick had gone over to discuss something with someone else, but his team were keeping an eye on his whereabouts and an ear open for his command, as are the two blue cattle dogs accompanying them. The goats in the background are just wondering what’s going on!

This is a limited edition print on canvas, about the size of the original painting, but being canvas does not require it to be framed under glass. An area 5cm wide has been left around the printed image to assist in stretching it for framing.
