Artwork Description

Amidst golden foliage and the soft call of cockatoos, two lovers sway in quiet unity- held not only by each other, but by the pulse of the land around them. Echoes of the Earth is a tender meditation on connection: between hearts, and the natural world that holds us.
As part of the Rhythm and Romance series, this work invites the viewer to feel the pulse of the earth reflected in the dance of love.

Artist Bio

My work explores the relationship between landscape and innerscape, using the symbolic language of nature, rhythm and archetypal imagery to explore themes of intention, resilience, transformation and connection.
Working primarily in oil and charcoal, I create layered, intuitive works that combine landscape, elemental qualities, and symbolic figures drawn from spiritual and mythological traditions. Earth, water, fire, and movement each carry both visual and emotional significance within the work, acting as visual metaphors for grounding, flow, courage, renewal and personal transformation.
My creative practice is influenced by the restorative power of the natural landscape, an early connection to rhythm and dance, to years working in both colour focused creative industries and heart-centred therapeutic spaces. These experiences have shaped my understanding of aesthetic harmony, embodied expression, and the emotional language that exists beyond words.
Through colour, texture, mark-making and symbolic composition, I aim to create works that are both visually compelling and deeply personal. My intention is for each painting to become more than an image- to serve as a visual anchor that reminds the viewer of an intention they are cultivating, a quality they are embodying, or a path they are consciously choosing.
