Jennifer found her love of painting artworks when she was looking for a new interest to occupy her during her retirement. Acknowledging the beauty of the natural environment and its fragility, she is passionate about caring for its future. Jennifer uses texture and a varied colour palette to depict both the uniqueness and diversity of the natural and built worlds.
For artworks that are inspired by nature, Jennifer mainly depicts these in a more realistic form while anthropogenic themes are often painted as abstracts. Jennifer mainly paints in acrylics but states her future directions will encompass the exploration of different techniques and mediums, such as watercolour and pencils.
Jennifer has attained a number of awards from local exhibitions and enjoys meeting others with similar interests.
