Jennifer has been working professionally in the arts for the past 10 years, primarily teaching through her own business Seraphic Creations. While spending years painting and creating, she now focuses mainly on her true love of drawing. Inspired by colour and the nature around her, Jennifer has been drawing animals and birds for many years and is now mostly working on drawing native Australian birds, if she can incorporate bright splashes of colour, all the better.
She also enjoys exploring different materials and repurposing forgotten items such as paint tin lids, hubcaps, bin lids, dominoes and many, many teabags, turning objects destined for landfill into fine art.
Recent exhibitions include her first solo show “Birds on Things” at Tiliqua Tiliqua Gallery in Enmore (2023), “Flipside” at Gang Gang Gallery, Lithgow (2023), “Panoramic” at Gallery One88 in Katoomba (2023) and The Other Art Fair (2022).
In 2022 Jennifer received a Highly Commended award for one of her drawings at the Hornsby Art Show.
Most recently Jennifer has been appointed the Artist in Residence at The Hospital School in Westmead Children's Hospital and has been working with the children there to create works for display in the hospital gallery.
