This image depicts the essence of self, in a calm floaty space during meditation, thoughts coming and going, sometimes intrusive, acknowledged, and let go, with a promise to resolve. small accents of collaged materials. An image of self is added , almost secretly, hardly there, painted blind, unseeing, just painting what I can feel in my face, eyes closed.I loved this activity so much it has become a common feature in many of my paintings. Signed Mhjeta on the back which is an acronym for my healing journey on which I am travelling. The Certificate of Authenticity will be signed Mhjeta, along with my initials. There is a reason for this. 5% of all sales will go to an animal rehoming facility.

I am a self taught artist. I paint what I feel using various different tools on hand, including brushes, palette knives, scrapers, even sticks and fingers.. I will search for pieces I can recycle and this will be mentioned in the description of the art piece if used. My art is very therapeutic and helps me to express self, my emotions and to overcome my traumas. Drawing inspiration from nature. I might find an interesting object and try to incorporate that into my art work. Or adding some collage. Always learning and experimenting, heavy textures and layers are a common feature. Every piece has a meaning, a memory, a feeling, an experience. My art is like life, like me, it has imperfections, some small, some big. sometimes it feels hectic, other times calm. I am a passionate animal lover and 5% of any sale will go to an animal rehoming facility.
