These two donkeys look like good buddies. I loved their muted colours surrounded by the lusciousness of the green and light though the trees. I love to paint animals and enjoy conveying their characters as I would in a human portrait.
I painted this with artist quality oil paints and it has been varnished with a high quality varnish to give it a low sheen and to provide protection from dust. It would look great hung as is with all the edges continuing the front story.
