I am an artist based in Northern NSW, attracted to spontaneity and improvisation in art making, and love to create art that feels free and ‘in the moment’.
Currently painting expressive contemporary abstract florals, beach paintings and abstracts, allowing for the possibility of plenty of bright colours.
Positive and happy works to lift peoples spirits, and my own while creating them.
I mostly paint with palette knives for a direct and immediate impression and interesting textures. And of course avoiding the brush clean up. A habit begun when I had 6 children with limited time for painting.
