Blue Mountains Trees

This painting is based on a photograph my son took while walking in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I took inspiration from the style and colours Piet Mondrian used in his painting, Woods near Oele.

I came to art later in life and I enjoy painting and drawing. I paint in watercolour and acrylic and draw in graphite and coloured pencil. I enjoy painting portraits, rural and urban landscapes, modern and abstract art. I have taken art classes at a few community organisations. Currently I attend Macquarie Community College.

Note - some artwork may be signed with my previous surname, McKechnie. Rest assured the work is still one of my originals.0
