Art has always interested me, the history of art and artists from past eras. I started working with watercolours when I was younger but children and work left me with little time to experiment with paint. When I went back to study as a mature aged student I studied visual arts and was introduced to oils and acrylics. Now retired I have the luxury of time to develop my skills and create art. I love to experiment with multimedia and am inspired by nature, in particular Australian native flora and scenery.
Being creative is a human impulse. Despite the challenges I find creating art through studying nature a joyous process.
