This piece is an unplanned mindmap that came about after researching the history behind our education system and references feelings of restlessness, alienation and stifled creativity relating to my own experience.

Jess Jones is an artist and illustrator. Their work features both process lead experimentation and elements of portraiture. Their use of materials is influenced by a celebrated impatience and desire to piece together the composition as they go, without prior planning. The result is combination of painted and drawn components and a clear affection for the linear.
