This piece is part of my 2026 Floral Exploration Series, a body of work that reimagines familiar botanical forms through colour, movement, and imagination. It has been painted on a reclaimed canvas and framed in faux wood as part of my commitment to giving existing materials a new life and reducing waste destined for landfill.
For this work, I was inspired by the traditional idea of flowers arranged in a vase, but chose to interpret every element through my own visual language. Rather than depicting identifiable blooms, this painting explores the essence of flowers as they exist in imagination—a collection of playful forms, vibrant colour, and expressive shapes that celebrate creativity over realism.
