Sometimes the water is so inviting, the beautiful clear and calm water, lapping gently at the sand and seaweed. And what a perfect day to be at the ocean here in the south west of Western Australia. All the troubles and worries of everyday life just slip away.

Jesyka is an artist local to the south west of western Australia, preferring mediums of acrylic and oil on canvas, and occasioning in earthenware sculpture. Jesyka takes inspiration from the vast complexity and textural diversity of nature, and the memories made when exploring the country side with family and friends. Being in nature often gives time to reflect on many things and, with the belief that art and nature and entwined, creating gives the feeling of connectedness.
