Springtime

Spring in the south west is certainly a sight to behold. Everything starts to flow and the flowers start to bloom. This year I've found my first orchid of the season and captured the bright spring day at the river to remember it.

Jesyka is an artist local to the south west of western Australia, preferring mediums of acrylic and oil on canvas, and occasioning in earthenware sculpture. Jesyka takes inspiration from the vast complexity and textural diversity of nature, and the memories made when exploring the country side with family and friends. Being in nature often gives time to reflect on many things and, with the belief that art and nature and entwined, creating gives the feeling of connectedness.
