This artwork is a 40 x 50 cm oil painting on stretched canvas. It comes with a hanging wire attached, ready to hang on a wall. It does not come with a float frame. The listing is for the artwork only.

This artwork was based on a collage I did from cut outs of old photos I put together to compose a story. I wanted to add characters to my usual blue sky, landscape focused paintings. There’s a touch of nostalgia and familiar scene in this painting. It brings back memories of family time and simpler times of past.

This painting is ready to hang. It looks presentable as is, however you may add a float frame of your choice for a polished look.
It will be safely packed in a sturdy cardboard box for shipping.

I am an artist from Blue Mountains, NSW. Represented by Aspire Gallery (QLD).

Working primarily with oils, I paint both real and imagined landscapes with ethereality.
Influenced by various significant artists from the past from the early impressionist painters and their love of capturing light and beauty, to colour field painters I continue to develop my painting style and techniques.

My works have in recent years commanded a significant amount of collecting attention. My most recent achievement includes online finalist in Lethbridge Small Art Prize 2023 and 2022 and having my works collected internationally in USA, UK and Singapore.
I also have a graphic design and photography background.

My goal is to capture the beauty of nature that people often take for granted. I never lack inspiration when there’s beauty all around us and above us.
