Artwork Description

This artwork is 65 x 50cm pastel drawing on grey, textured pastel paper. The listing is for the artwork only. It is not framed, but it has been sprayed with a fixative ready for framing.

FRAMING
This artwork requires framing. This can be done through Bluethumb’s framers so you can have this artwork delivered to your home, framed and ready for hanging. Please click the “add a handmade frame” to see framing options.

You may also frame this artwork by yourself if you are handy at framing. A matt board is necessary so that the artwork is not in direct contact with the artwork.
I will include a guide to caring for pastel artworks.
Alternatively, you can take it straight to your local framer.

This artwork was inspired by a large oil painting of mine which is also available on Bluethumb. I wanted to re-create a simpler sketch of the painting, keeping it moody and with a touch of nostalgia.

PACKING & SHIPPING
If you are purchasing this artwork as is (unframed), it will be safely flat packed with sturdy foamboards and a cardboard box.
If you choose to have it framed through Bluethumb, it will be shipped to the framer first. After framing is done, Bluethumb will make sure it is delivered to your house safely and ready to hang.

Thank you for your interest. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Artist Bio

I am an artist from Blue Mountains, NSW. Represented by Aspire Gallery (QLD).

Working primarily with oils, I paint both real and imagined landscapes with ethereality.
Influenced by various significant artists from the past from the early impressionist painters and their love of capturing light and beauty, to colour field painters I continue to develop my painting style and techniques.

My works have in recent years commanded a significant amount of collecting attention. My most recent achievement includes online finalist in Lethbridge Small Art Prize 2023 and 2022 and having my works collected internationally in USA, UK and Singapore.
I also have a graphic design and photography background.

My goal is to capture the beauty of nature that people often take for granted. I never lack inspiration when there’s beauty all around us and above us.
