This artwork is a pastel painting measuring 41 x 32 cm. It has been sprayed with a fixative, ready for framing.
The paper is a grey toned Canson Mi Teintes paper with a slight texture. Please see the close up photos above.

FRAMING

Alternatively, you can frame this by yourself with a photo frame with a mat. However, unless you are experienced at framing pastel paintings, I would suggest you take this artwork to a local framer. Pastel artwork should not come in direct contact with the glass of the frame. A matt board is essential.
I will include a guide on how to care for pastel artworks.

PACKING AND SHIPPING
If you choose to frame this artwork yourself or take it to your local framer, I will pack it securely with foam board, plenty of padding and a sturdy cardboard box.
If you choose to have it framed through Bluethumb, the artwork will be shipped to the framer first. After framing, Bluethumb will then make sure it will arrive safely at your place.

I have shipped many unframed pastel works on paper without any issues.
