Painted from life, a composition where fragments of the human world such as a broken column and shiny gold fork, coexist with nature. The aliveness and colours of the orchids remind us that nature has its own cycles and energy working with our existence.
Through light, form, and the dialogue between object and nature, I have aimed to portray a continuous conversation between what we leave behind and what inevitably grows and thrives.
This painting is part of a larger body exploring this theme, titled 'Stillness of Hand, Wildness of Bloom'
