Artwork Description

Influenced by street fashion, this painting references the psychology that fashion plays in womens lives. The title 'The In Crowd' suggests that these women exude confidence and are using the street as their platform.
Having no physical portraits shown in the painting allows the fashion of the women to become the focal point, and the observer to perceive their identities, or are we just simply observing the women and admiring their sense of style?

Oil on stretched linen framed in a contemporary off white shadow box frame. The framed painting is ready to hang with wire and D-rings
