The second in the Nourishment series, this is Banana.
These small-scale paintings present fruits and vegetables not as passive objects, but as expressive characters—each one centred, stylised, and saturated with joy. The works explore nourishment in both a literal and emotional sense, offering playful colour, compositional balance, and a hint of quiet rebellion against the still life tradition. Rooted in care, humour, and observation, they’re meant to delight and to ground. For me, they mark a return to creative confidence—offering a light, sincere entry point into my ongoing visual language.
