Mount Wellington, also known as Kunanyi is a part of the Wellington range in Tasmania’s South. This beautiful area remains well kept and an important part of Tasmanian aboriginal history.
I loved creating the layers in this piece and feel as though it truely reflects on Tasmania’s remarkable winter landscape.

My name is Jessie and I am an artist, living in beautiful Tasmania, Australia.

Growing up on the East Coast has given me a great love and insight into the ocean, focusing most of my practise on photo realistic paintings of Australia’s remarkable coastline.

I am a self taught artist and have been painting for about 4 years.
I love creating meaningful art to bring warmth and comfort to my clients space. I still find it crazy that my art is hanging in peoples homes!!

I feel as though we are all linked to the ocean in some way. I love that people can simply look at my art and feel instantly connected through memories and feelings, that in itself is pretty powerful.
