The warmth of winter reveals itself in the form of wattle blooming. Each year I am no less excited than the previous when the little yellow pops of joy arrive in abundance. I can’t walk past without pausing or drive past without shifting my vision. I can always rely on a fresh surge of inspiration to hit and leave me in anticipation for spring.
