Nostalgia is inspired by a shoreline from my childhood—one that has blurred with time but still lives vividly in feeling. Rather than portraying a specific location (because I can't remember the location!), the piece draws on the emotional imprint of long summer days by the ocean: bright water, sheltering trees, and the quiet pulse of waves that once made the world feel free and safe. This work captures the essence of a place half‑remembered yet deeply felt, where memory and imagination naturally blend.
