Beach Day with Nanna and Pop

Another glorious day down at the beach, nothing to do but swim and play under the watchful eye of nanna and pop. Unlike many of my other paintings, I wanted to capture this typical scene at our local beach, focusing more on the people and interaction between them rather than the scenery.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
