Artwork Description

I don't normally paint horses but this scene near where my brother lives in Victoria inspired me to tackle it as a watercolour. I was captured by the light on the countryside and the horse, waiting patiently for the arrival of it's owner. It's feed time.

Artist Bio

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
