As we approached Canal Rocks, I looked down at a little beach spot from an elevated vantage point and stopped to take in the view, breathe the salty air and felt happy to revisit a favourite place. The white sandy beach dotted with rocks and the aqua blue ocean was a welcomed sight, bringing instant calm. For the sake of this painting I added a few suggestions of people to create interest and draw the eye to the beach.
