This painting was inspired by a recent visit to Lake Hawea in the South Island of NZ. It was a picture perfect day and I was captivated by the vivid blue water of the lake through the trees. The air was crystal clear, not a breath of wind and I just wanted to linger in this very spot, but there was more to explore.
