Artwork Description

How I long to be back in Moreton Island! I walked this pathway to the beach many times during our stay but when the sun was low it was just nice to sit on the verandah and watch the light glisten on the ocean casting long shadows from the pandanas. This is a slightly larger version of an earlier painting I did of the same subject.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
