Artwork Description

Back visiting the southwest of WA and there are just so many beautiful places that inspire painting.
None more so than Meelup Beach near Dunsborough. The sun normally sets over the ocean in WA but because of it's unique location, it faces east and this painting is showing the morning light illuminating the green grass that runs down to the beach, a rare sight on a WA beach.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
