Morning Light Awakens

I am constantly looking up, analyzing cloud formations and their colour, light and movement. So many times it takes my breath away and I am awestruck by their beauty. I wanted to create this morning scene of a farmstead near Margaret River that I love for it's rambling little sheds extending from the main house, backlighting them, so they are virtually silhoetted against the morning sunlight grappling to peak through the heavy clouds.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
