Commissioned work of prawn trawlers on the Brisbane River. I had the privilege to enjoy this view for 5 years and when a neighbour asked me to paint a watercolour of the view for her I, of course was eager to. This is so typical of Brisbane in winter but when you can see the sun rise over the river and cast magical diamonds on the still waters while being entertained by the flocks of birds looking for a free feed behind the prawn trawlers that meander lazily along the river, what's not to love about it. It was a privilege to paint this!
