Artwork Description

This painting was inspire by Newstead Park, right near where I live. I wander through there most days and the light on this particular day caught my attention. The shade from the big old trees, filtering the beautiful afternoon glow was just stunning. I chose to include a figure resting underneath the trees to show just what a sanctuary this place is.
