I always have studio envy and while walking past this little cottage in our neighbourhood, I couldn't help but think it would make a perfect little studio. It looked weathered but quaint and I was taken by the light filtering through the trees and how the gate was left open slightly as if to say 'come in'. I was tempted.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
