Artwork Description

This painting inspired by a visit to Palm Cove, one of my favourite places in FNQ transports the viewer to a tropical paradise greeting them with morning warmth and sparkle on the ocean. The colours are softer than an earlier painting I did of a similar scene, evoking a sense of tranquility and calm.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
