Artwork Description

The Poincianas near where I live forever fascinate me. As soon as the Jacarandas finish flowering we are graced with a display of brilliant red as if to say the heat is on it's way. The shape of the branches intertwining keep me mesmerized and it's shade in the heat is nothing short of perfect.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
